I lived in Jacksonville from 2017-2022 and Ane did all of my services. I cant say enough about this establishment. Easy schedule, clean, Ane has gone above and beyond for me at times when I was in a time crunch even. I did waxing for the first time, after avoiding for so long time because I was afraid of the pain.Luckily I got a very calm professional(Lucia); she was so nice to me. She understood I was afraid and calm me down first, being honest that it would hurt more since it was the first time, but then the pain would be less on the next sections since the hair would became thinner and easier to come out. Lucia was very nice to me and made sure to give me some time to take a deep breath before the next area to be waxed. It was painful but tolerable. Now that I've moved away from Jacksonville and get my waxes here in Japan, I can give an accurate (and WELL overdue) review of my favorite wax salon ever. I didn't realize how good I had it! I've been getting brazillians (and the occasional forearm and lower back) waxes from this salon pretty consistently for over 2 years. I'd go every month and no matter who I had, the pain really isn't bad!! Unfortunately, this store cycles through staff pretty frequently and there's a high turnover rate (at least, there was 2 years ago when I was a customer). So just as I was starting to really like and get to know a waxer, I'd found out she left lol. But seriously, it didn't matter who I had, they all do phenomenal and they'll chat with you the whole time which really helps get your mind off of the wax! All the ladies are so sweet and they never push any additional products or services on you. I really, REALLY miss this salon because my one waxing place here in my rural town in Japan doesn't do the best job and I DREAD going every month because it's so much pain!!! I miss you Wax of Brazil!!!

I went yesterday to get some personal grooming done on my face. The specialist was very informative and made sure to detail how the wax could interact with other proscribed skin medications I use. It was excellent service and very reasonable in terms of expense.

I just moved here from KC and Ane was amazing. It is always hard to move and find new spots/service providers, but I will tell you this is my new waxing salon for sure! She was quick and so nice! As long as I am here in Jacksonville - this is it for me!

I had a great first-time experience! Being 6 months pregnant and never having had a wax before I was really nervous! But Ane explained everything I needed to know before we got started and talked me through the process. I was worried it would be uncomfortable or awkward but Ane is very professional and she made sure I knew what she was doing and that I was comfortable. Had a great experience today! I am 26 weeks pregnant and this was my first waxing experience other than my eyebrows and lips. The woman was super patient and sweet. She was very understanding when I decided to switch from a full Brazilian to a binkini line wax (due to how sensitive you are when pregnant) I plan on going back for sure. Also the man at the front desk was super friendly and offered us refreshments while we waited. Also everything was super clean and sanitary.

As a first time customer (and a first time Brazilian waxee!) I found this to be an incredibly comfortable experience - which I was not expecting, given the nature of the task at hand. I had a leg, Brazilian, underarm and eyebrow wax and was walked through everything step by step, all of their hygiene standards were explained, she made sure I was okay pain wise the entire time - I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm only in town for a couple of weeks or I would definitely be back, but I'll be referring my family in the area.

Best wax in Jacksonville by far! I tried "sugaring" for the first time and I have to say, there is no looking back for me. I will continue to come to Wax of Brazil and see Ana for my sugaring sessions. The biggest thing for me is that I want something that will last a long period of time. The cold wax places that I have tried here in town do not seem to last very long. However, traditional hot wax Brazilians tend to be very painful! Sugaring is the best of both worlds-- it is not as painful as hot waxing and it lasts just as long. I cannot recommend Wax of Brazil more. I am already recruiting my sister to try it for her first Brazilian! Plus, the online appointments make it very easy for me too book and/or change my appointment.

I've been twice now and my once super thick wirey hairs are now so fine and soft. How little hair that grew back after just the first wax was amazing, too. It honestly has completely changed the way my hair grows. Shaving has always been so uncomfortable because of my hair type and sensitive skin and regular waxing was never any better, but sugaring changes everything!! Less pain, softer finer hair, no bleeding, no ingrown hairs, little to no irritation. You will not be disappointed!!!
